From Wendy Howard

I hope this newsletter finds you safe and healthy as we start this new year. It has been a while since I last used this space to connect. As part of a new resolution for 2021, I have revived this newsletter. A newsletter that will provide you with information to streamline your IT systems, conserve natural resources, and increase productivity while saving you time and money. It also includes tips for a healthy, environmentally friendly, and sustainable office. We promise not to overwhelm your inbox and provide only pertinent news and relevant events happening in the area. Every month will include tips on technology that are both “green (environmentally friendly) and sustainable.”

Over the past few years, I have refocused my expertise and training on using technology to become more efficient and reduce our drain on the environment. In pursuit of this effort, I completed Climate Change professional training provided by the Association of Climate Change Officers (ACCO). I was recognized with 39 others as the first in the state of Maryland to be certified by the Association of Climate Change Officers (ACCO) and the State of Maryland as a Climate Change Professional (CC-P®). This intensive course covered everything from the business and economics of climate change to the assessment of vulnerabilities in communities often under-served and most impacted.    – Wendy Howard, WH Consulting, Owner, Climate Change Professional (CC-P®)Certified by the Association of Climate Change Officers and the State of Maryland

ANNAPOLIS, MD – January 29, 2020 – Maryland Governor Larry Hogan today recognized 40 professionals as Maryland’s first Certified Climate Change Professionals®, an international credential administered by the Association of Climate Change Officers (ACCO), during the meeting of the Board of Public Works.
